There’s evidence of a cautious economic rebound, a new optimism. Add to that retailers’ nascent historical perspective of what worked—and what didn’t—in the dearth of 2008-2010, and we have a new impetus for change in retail, including new branding and geographic strategies. This panel will discuss how retailers are recalibrating, especially through broad geographic expansion, urban and suburban growth and rebranding of merchandising strategies.
