Adrian Wilson

The Inutilious Retailer

Adrian Wilson has photographed interiors and stores for 30 years. Originally from England, he moved to New York in 2004 where he currently shoots images and video for many high-end retailers, from Apple to Victoria’s Secret. Adrian was also the creative director of the play Ubu Roi, which ran in New York’s St. Mark’s Theater, where he created posters and worked on set design.

Adrian is an accomplished artist and has exhibited in New York. His most recent project in Miami was described by NYMag’s Jerry Saltz as “the best public art of [the] 2017 ArtBasel.” Also in 2017, Adrian created a commemoration of the art that was destroyed during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, which was displayed around Ground Zero in New York.

Wilson presents lectures on his photography to a range of designers, as well as teaches art and printmaking to kids, from New York to Mexico City.
