Andrew McQuilkin

For more than 30 years, Andrew McQuilkin has served in key design leadership roles in the retail industry. In his role as Retail Leader and Partner at BHDP, Andrew is responsible for leading the retail design and architecture expertise in branding, store planning, interior design and merchandising, as well as building architecture and coordinating rollouts for retail clients. Andrew has extensive knowledge and background in the design and implementation of department stores, vendor shops, specialty stores, large format and discount stores.

Recognized by his peers, Andrew, along with his project teams and retailer partners, have been awarded more than 70 retail design awards, including the prestigious “Store of the Year” awards for Saks Fifth Avenue in 1995, Richards of Greenwich in 2000, Toys “R” Us Times Square in 2001 and Aveda Tokyo in 2003. As a retail design expert and advocate for the industry, Andrew in now serving as the Ohio Chapter President of the Retail Design Institute (RDI) after serving multiple terms as International President. In 2010, he was appointed to “Fellow” status for his commitment and dedicated service to the organization.
