
Steve Ryder came to the U.S. in 2005 to research and develop a retail format for the American market on behalf of Britan's largest retailer, Tesco, for whom he's worked for 28 years. Prior to his move to the U.S. he spent 18 months working on store format and design development in Asia and Central Europe. Before that he headed up the UK Store Design and Planning team where he was influential in many store format and design developments over the last 15 years, including Tesco Metro and Tesco Extra.
