Eric Feigenbaum is a recognized leader in the visual merchandising and store design Industries with both domestic and international design experience. As a retailer, he served as Corporate Director of Visual Merchandising for Stern’s Department Store, a Division of Federated Department Stores from 1986 to 1995. On the design side, he was the director of Visual Merchandising for Walker Group/CNI, an architectural design firm located in New York City. Currently, he is President and Director of Creative Services for his own retail design company, Embrace Design. In the educational sector, Feigenbaum is an adjunct professor of Store Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology and formerly served as the chair of the Visual Merchandising Department at LIM College from 2000 to 2015. He also works in the editorial sector as the Editorial Advisor/New York Editor of VMSD magazine. In 2012, he was presented with the coveted Markopoulos Award for excellence in Visual Merchandising. Additionally, Feigenbaum is a founding member of PAVE (A Partnership for Planning and Visual Education), and served as the chair of the Society of Visual Merchandisers.
